The Poured Out leaders just got back from a week in Haiti!
We had a lot of fun and were able to complete much needed work!
We spent several days following up on filters that have been installed over the last few years in Torbeck! It was an opportunity to measure impact as well as reinforce education! And we loved getting to see families again!
It was great to get to visit filter, educate families, trouble shoot any problems, and see how the filters were impacting the families’ health. The follow ups allowed us to learn about the filter install process as well and make some modifications to make the filters sustainable and easy to use and understand for families!
We also got a delivery of filter media in order to continue our work! After unloading all the sand and gravel we were all a bit dirty but glad to have gotten the delivery to continue our work!
We were also able to complete water house check ups on all the systems in Torbeck! They are functioning well and producing clean water for several communities! We are excited to see so many systems impacting so many people. We couldn’t have done it without so many donors and volunteers who make our work possible!
We were able to install 12 new filters this week! It was great to get to meet families, hear their stories, educate, and learn about each person who will be impacted by the filter. Thank you to all our donors who make it possible to provide clean water!
Lots of fun!
Our work wouldn’t be complete without a little fun either! Conner and Austin always know how to bring lots of laughs and make the work fun! So grateful to have had an amazing week!
