Poured Out – About Us
Poured Out Mission
Core Values
What We Do
Poured Out believes every community deserves the opportunity to access clean drinking water. In order to achieve this goal, Poured Out seeks to enable individuals to access clean water through various filtration techniques, educate communities in working and maintaining these units, and empower those who share our concern in providing those things. We design, build, and install filtration systems in an international setting. Currently we are working in Haiti.
Poured Out US Disaster Response seeks to be first-on-the-ground response to communities who have been struck by natural disaster. We help local churches by providing the necessary knowledge and equipment to help deal with the crisis around them after a natural disaster. We also connect willing volunteers to tools and homeowners needing help after a storm. We muck out homes, clean up debris, cut down dangerous trees, repair roofs, distribute goods, and ensure people get the help they need as quickly as possible.
Poured Out is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization as we use the donations we are given to aid the communities we are serving. Our staff raise their own support with limited administrative support from the organization.
Our Founders
Carlee Greene
With a BA in Psychology, Carlee’s love for unreached communities started as a young girl. Starting in her early teens, Carlee has done construction-based disaster relief at the Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota; the mountain village of Beaver, Kentucky; and the flooded New Orleans, Louisiana . Throughout college Carlee was a volunteer construction worker in both Michigan and Florida for Habitat for Humanity. After college, Carlee traveled to Pupuke, New Zealand to live on a Maori Marae and build homes for several families. Carlee’s passion for water purification began on her first trip to Haiti, where the level of contamination in the water was a prominent threat. Carlee co-founded Poured Out at the age of 23, and became a full-time missionary at 25. She now serves as the Director of Haiti Operations and US Disaster Response Administrative Coordinator.

Leading relief projects in Haiti, Georgia, Tennessee, Kansas, Louisiana, and dozens of other areas. Steve has a passion for putting his construction and engineering skills to work in communities that need it most. Steve would describe himself as deeply convicted that people and resources need to be connected to those who have lost everything after a storm happens. Steve’s passion for water purification began when doing relief work in Haiti and he witnessed first hand the reality of children dying of water borne disease, sweeping through whole communities where technology of our day could help bring long-term solutions. Steve stepped down from his position as a pastor to become a full-time missionary in January of 2012. He now serves as Director of US Disaster Response and Haiti Solar Water Projects Manager.

Poured Out Missionaries
Poured Out’s Carlee Greene, Steve Adams, Levi Adams, Chris Steinle, and Greg Edmonds have taken the huge step of becoming full-time missionaries for Poured Out! The organization’s founders have both resigned from their ‘day jobs’ and are in the process of raising support to be fully available to work for Poured Out.
To those who have/are donating to make this possible, we thank you greatly! With Steve, Carlee, Levi, Chris, and Greg working full-time, we believe Poured Out will experience amplified growth through the year 2013.
